Caring for the Community

At Molecular, the same core values we apply to our client services are also demonstrated in how we care for the world around us. It is our special tradition to give back to our community, not just financially, but also through the hard work of our employees who volunteer their time.

Caring with Generosity

Our employees generously give their time and talents as volunteers, contributing 700 plus hours to community service and raising more than $34,000 in donations during 2006 alone. We have served local and national charitable organizations by donating our time to park beautification efforts, revitalizing youth facilities, serving meals at homeless shelters and soup kitchens, donating clothing, and participating in fundraising athletic events, to name a few.

Our team is proud to have serviced these non-profit organizations: Boston Cares, Boston Private Industry Council, Watertown Boys & Girls Club, BATEC, Salvation Army, Mass Mentoring Partnership, Everybody Wins Metro Boston, The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Lee National Denim Day, 5K Stomp Out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Event, Children’s Hospital of Boston Miles for Miracles, Watertown Public Schools, The American Red Cross, The Priceless Gown Project, and The Mass AFL-CIO Walk to Cure Cancer.

Caring for the Environment

The people of our community are not the only recipients of Molecular’s contributions, as environmental awareness and protection are also important concerns for our team. This year, our parent company, Isobar launched a corporate social responsibility campaign aimed at increasing eco-friendly practices. As part of this campaign, Isobar promoted a competition among its over 30 agencies worldwide to improve their “green” efforts. In response to this competition, Molecular launched our campaign, “Make a World of Difference,” which won the top honors. Molecular’s award-winning green campaign is accomplishing its goals every day, by increasing not only paper, plastic and can recycling, but also the recycling of batteries, toner cartridges, and computer hardware. We are cutting electricity with signage on every light switch reminding people to “turn ideas on and lights off”. Other green practices being implemented include the use of mugs verses paper cups, and the use of chlorine-free recycled paper products such as napkins and paper towels. More ideas are being explored and will be implemented in a greener 2007!
